[NEWS] Star Beam Pays Tribute to After School in "Immortal Songs"

Valentine's Day is a week from now but Star Beam never failed to make us cry.

On today's EP of "Immortal Songs", the group chose to perform an R&B remix of the After School hit "Because of You" which showed off their greatest strengths as a group: their dynamic performance and their emotional vocals. The girls who are known for sort of straying away from the stereotypical girl crush concept from time to time, put their fresh spin in this underrated gem which was released back in 2009. Many fans praised Star Beam's song choice because they did justice while putting their personal stamp. In spite that After School is currently inactive for a long time, Star Beam makes a point to pay homage to them through their covers. They previously covered "Bang" during Beaming Memories Tour.

Instead of having fans fighting regarding line distribution, each member's voice were heard properly thanks to their reasonably fair line distribution that suited their voices. Jeonah, Saeyoon, Chloe & Chaehee effortlessly go back & forth in singing & rapping. Many people didn't knew that Chaehee is a rapper since she is assigned in more difficult singing lines in most SeuBim songs. While Yujia proved once again that she is more than the "pretty foreigner" by showing off her dance skills and her vocals tremendously improved. Ryuna & Hyoshin took charge on ad-libs and high notes effortlessly and stably proving that they are one of the best main vocal duo (trio if you count Chaehee) of the 4th generation. Choreography wise, their moves are synchronized that doesn't look messy nor dull and each member has its own center time.
