As you all know, Star Beam will perform their hit "Mermaid Princess" with NCT Dream on the upcoming SMA on January 30, 2020. If you followed Star Beam since their Polyvore days in 2017, that song surely ring the bell. I was pretty conflicted on how the line distribution would turn out since NoMin (Jeno & Jaemin) rarely sing unlike JeonSae (Jeonah & Saeyoon). I don't know if NoMin will have rap parts and JeonSae will only have singing parts or NoMin and JeonSae will divide rap parts. But before this upcoming exciting collaboration, one of their favorite hoobaes, Cherry Bomb (one of their members, Tori, is Chloe & Jaemin biased), already covered this song at the Fact Music Awards.

@fxn-official Our concern really was how can we get a nearly fair line distribution for 13 members (7 Star Beam members & 6 NCT Dream members). And we decided to give rap parts to Jeno & Jaemin then the rest of us will have singing parts (I know majority of us girls will have switched parts). Anyways Jeonah & Saeyoon can sing too. It's just Jeonah's singing voice is more on the deeper side - Ryuna
