MC Yujia is back in Music Bank after wrapping up their successful Beaming Memories world tour. She is welcomed by her co-MCs, Yeeun, Bomin & Johnny (Johnny came back a week earlier) & of course, their chemistry is natural. In one of their spiels, the four huddled together to welcome back their 4th member of the MC squad.
Yujia's return to her MC duties also marks the 1000th episode of Music Bank which became a part of K-pop history that witnessed different artists who shaped the genre. In today's episode, many new generation K-pop idols covered legendary songs from 1st & 2nd generations.
Music Bank PDs tapped Star Beam to cover one of the iconic K-pop songs for their 1000th episode thanks to their versatility as performers plus the girls are very honored to cover one of their K-pop role models. Star Beam performed "Hot Issue" which is the debut song of 4Minute back in 2009. Their look may be more subdued for the 2nd generation K-pop standards but it showed Star Beam's fun, funky & fresh charms.
Many netizens showed love for Star Beam's incredible job as usual thanks to their synchronized moves & boundless energy that it seems like they're just partying around the stage.
Star Beam will be busy appearing in variety shows & music festivals for the remaining months of 2019
