𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂

Ellen MacDougal is sunshine bottled into a 5’ 4” girl, she’s full on cheeriness pretty much 24/7 to everyone around her. This can be a lot to handle especially upon your first meeting, it’s often an aside to another in the room if she’s really always like this. To which the answer is most of the time. She’s seen the bad in the world and Ellen says f that and wants to make it better. Ellen’s no politician or scientist so what she’s got is making other people feel better about themselves. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of making the person who feels left out in a room more comfortable. Her tactics tend to make more allies than enemies of those around her but her cheerful attitude makes it hard to relate to. Ellen does have the ability to turn it off and get serious but when she does that she feels inauthentic and questions why she tries to be so positive anyway.

𝓫𝓲𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝔂

Ellen MacDougal was practically born to be a kindergarten teacher, a bright smile and a sunny disposition are her calling cards. She didn’t know tragedy as a young girl nor she didn’t experience hardship and decide to turn the page make things better. No Ellen has lived in such a little bubble where everything was good and lovely and things just went right. She got to dream just about every dream and her parents supported them all, even if hers were about as fleeting a shooting star. Ellen took dance lessons to be a ballerina, Ellen studied the periodic table because chemistry was her true calling, Ellen just barely dove into the goal on time to make her soccer game. Yet even with 1,000 dreams Ellen seemed to stay committed to all of them, she refuses to let anyone down once she tries something.
Thus Ellen MacDougal has found herself in Paris, she finally said screw the all the commitments and focused on one thing and one thing alone. It was a wrestling match with herself about whether or not this was worth it. That thing it turns out was love...or well her interpretation of it based on her few encounters with the French exchange student she had met at school. Ellen isn’t sure what came over her, she’s spent so much of her savings and the money her mom totally won’t say that she’s sending and she has nothing to show for it. Her life has completely changed and Ellen can barely believe herself, but she still has her smile and her love for everything around her that keeps Ellen herself.

𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓷𝓪𝓲𝓻𝓮

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒖 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓 ?
Because I'm literally running out of money and I'm stuck here in Europe since I told everyone that I couldn't stay at school anymore. Literally anything to help me not have to call my mom and give into her begging me to get on whatever plane ticket she has ready to email me. Plus I need something to do with my days.

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔 ?
Well obviously Maxence is here. But it's Paris it's literally the cultural epicenter of everything. Fashion and art and literature. I also speak enough French that I can get by here since it is so touristy I can fall back to English as needed.

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒈𝒐 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒖 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓 ? 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 ?
Literally just started, it's been a blast honestly love kids a little older than expected. Hopefully will be with them for at least another 9 months.

God, ugh who knows. I want to see everything, I want to fall in love and have my French romance but I guess I want to travel the rest of Europe. I don't think going back to school at home is on the agenda so maybe transferring and getting a degree though I'd probably have to start a new degree.
