Giambattista Valli x H&M reveal their #Project🖤 at amfAR Gala
-
amfAR Gala is no doubt one of the most awaited events during the Cannes Film Festival: each year amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, host a super-glamour charity party attended by all the most important VIPs. This year, amfAR Gala has been the stage for the revelation of a new glamorous and ... romantic partnership: the one between Giambattista Valli and H&M.
Indeed, Giambattista Valli, the Italian designer who moved to Paris to create his romantic, timeless, feminine Maison, is the Designer of the Year forH&M, the Sweeden brand famous all over the world.
Giambattista Valli x H&M Collection, called #Projecton social media, will be an ode to romance: Fall in love with romance all over again is indeed the slogan of the project, a taste of which has been revealed at amfAR Gala with the help of some Valli girls and one boy.
Kendall Jenner, Chiara Ferragni, Bianca Brandolini, Chris Lee, H.E.R. and Ross Lynch, escorted by Giambattista Valli and H&M Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson, wore a preview of #Project
collection, which can be purchased online on H&M website and in selected shops since today; the rest of the collection will be released on November 7th. But, for now, let's enjoy this taste of this amazing collection.
#Project
is all about ruffles, laces, transparencies, glamorous and couture-like lines.
The signature look of the collection was no doubt Kendall Jenner one: the top model worn a hot pink asymmetric ruffled gown, with a bow belt and a detachable train.
Chiara Ferragni dress was a light-pink delicate lace asymmetric gown, with a deep V neck ending up in a crystal red heart.
Made in the same light pink, Bianca Brandolini dress was the most modern and hot. She wore a two-pieces set made of a short tube skirt and a bra with ruffled sleeves, both bordered in crystals.
Pink also for the Chinese musician Chris Lee and her asymmetric gown with a sheer train, deep V neck and ruffles on the shoulders.
The beautiful H.E.R. wore white instead, on a marvellous long bustier gown with tulle skirt and floral 3D embellishments everywhere, paired with a floral white necklace and round sunglasses.
Last but not least, Ross Lynch was the only Valy boy. His #Project
garment was a modern suit: grey dotted trousers and blazer paired with a white sheer collarless shirt with lace details.
Which piece of this pre-collection do you like the most?
