Spring Trend: the most popular colours and how to wear them

  • Next week we will finally be able to live into the most pleasant period of the year: spring. Flowers are blossoming, the weather is becoming warmer, the sunshine shows up more often, and anyone wants to wear lighter, more colourful look. Talking about that: which are the most popular colours for this spring? Let’s learn this together!

    1. Living Coral
Of course Pantone Color of the Year had to be one of the trendiest colours of this spring! Remember? We talked about it here. Anyway, coral looks amazing with sandy and earth tones as well as with grey, black, dark blue and white. Or try to wear it with yellow for a bright, brave look. If you have black or tanned skin, coral will make you shine!

    2. Lilac
It has been several years since we started seeing pastel colours on the streets. But usually, this trend regards mostly pink and blue shades. This spring, get ready for a lilac invasion! This feminine, delicate, classy colour is perfect from the office to the free time to the most polished events. Pair it with white for a super-feminine look, with black for a sophisticated one. And don’t be scared of playing with colour-blocks: lilac looks great with green, teal and rust.

    3. Yellow
Oh yes: yellow is back. In all its shades. From neon yellow to mustard, from pastel to sunflower: in spring/summer, yellow will be the new black. One of the positive things about this colour is that it is easy to wear: it looks great with neutral, pastel, bright colours. You just have to choose the perfect yellow shade and...have fun with it! Wear yellow on your clothes if you want to get noticed, or use it on your accessories to enliven your office/school look.

    4. Orange and Rust
Let’s admit it: orange isn’t the easiest colour to wear. But it is pretty, great for summer, and it stands out: wearing an orange bag will surely add a touch of personality to your outfit, as well as an orange top! And if you are not feeling brave enough to wear orange, don’t worry: you can still choose a darker shade of this colour. Rust is a trendy colour too, and it is also more appropriate for work and school time: pair it with neutral and whites to create a chic look.
