The Academy Zine is tot die for! On the Internet, it is praised by the aesthetic queens of the '90s (2090s, to be exact). The members of the Zine Club are usually quite popular in teen popular culture, and the Zine serves a cultural reckoning every time a new issue is released. It is the most successful club to come out of The Academy, considering it brings together all disciplines into a creative endeavor. You will often hear soundbites from Academy representatives talking about how the Zine Club is an 'exemplary model of the potential The Pupils hold.'

{Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. in The Library}
Argubaly one of the more boring extracurriculars, Art Appreciation Club is just that: time for people to come together and appreciate art. The club meets in The Library with a new physical copy of a painting nominated by a member, and they silently view the artwork before moving into the hallway for some refreshments and quiet discussion of the piece. People who are not in the club will often wonder what is wrong with its members to find such blasรฉ endeavors enlightening (particularly the STEM majors).

{Wednesdays at 12:45 p.m. in The Cafe}
Why does a school of solely 150 students need a yearbook? Because it gives the club an excuse to sell signed copies to fans online for some extra cash. In fact, The Academy does not know of this side hustle, nor do they know that the money made is set into a party fund. Almost all members of the Yearbook Club are party animals, and many are known to be quite popular amongst their peers.

{Wednesdays at 3:15 p.m. in The Courtyard}
The origins of the Squirrel-Watching Club are largely unknown. Some theorize that one of the more eccentric Academy students are to blame {if you would like for your character to be said person, let me know!}. However, the beginnings of the club are no matter since it appears that the group has a healthy amount of members. They meet for a half hour to simply observe the wildlife in its beauty, often making small comments about fur patterns and colors. Some members are known to grow ecstatic while watching the fuzzy creatures, disturbing the general serenity of the greenery.

Exactly as it sounds. The Mathletes compete with one another every Saturday in a true battle of intellect. Dr. Said provides questions for the group, and they see who can solve the permutations the quickest. Surprisingly, the group is quite popular, especially amongst the more competitive STEM students.

Every dorm hall hosts its own study group. These are largely considered a space to work independently in the prescence of others (given the high number of neurodivergent students makes body doubling quite helpful), but talking is allowed, unlike in The Library.

Surpringly, Model U.N. is the club that gets the most news coverage. It is also one of the most popular clubs, due to the nature of The Academy. Most members are put under extreme scrutiny for their fantasy decisions, along with being pestered for interviews. Attendance has started to dwindle, particularly in the last year, though not enough to cause certifiable worry.

Simply a night where students can delight in each other's fiction! While referred to as Poetry Slam Night, over the years it has become more free-form. The plays and concerts in every season are some of the most anticipated events, especially by the media. They are expertly crafted affairs, especially because they are both reliant upon some portion of students' actual school work. For example, the plays and musicals are put on by students in the theatrical arts disciplines, and the concerts are put on by both the respective clubs and the musical disciplines.

Due to the interactive nature and popularity of Music Appreciation Club, it was forced to opt for a different schedule in a bigger venue a few years back. Music Appreciation Evening is used as a way for students to essentially host a small dance party. They throw their hair back, dress in their best eleganza, and dance with one another in the grand Ballroom.

Started as a way for students to be more educated on their disciplines, An Evening With Your Favorite Professor is one of the least populated events, especially now that the students are well into their disciplines. The lack of popularity is because it requires signing up for a professor, which is often on the bottom of the to-do list for many students. Besides, who wants to spend more time in school than they have to?

As a way to celebrate the in-coming summer vacation, a race is held once every June in St. Antoine Lake. Everyone gathers on the pier, boats are brought out, and cameras are present. Most of the athletic students are the ones who compete, and at this point it is already known who will drop their hat in the ring. The prize for winning consists of an extra three days of Summer Vacation.

Similar to its summer counterpart, the Holiday Hackey-Sack Race is a way for students to celebrate the end of the calendar year. The game consists of using a potato sack to jump across a stretch of St. Antoine Lake. The only difference is that pairs must sign up, and the roster of those involved changes each year considering how cold it gets on the ice. Hot cocoa is served at the event, along with holiday treats. While occurring after the winter holidays (due to the ice normally not being fully frozen in December... at The Academy found out the hard way), it is still a fantastically festive event. The prize for winning is a three day weekend.

Beginning when the students were in Year Four at The Academy, the Winter Masquerade Ball is a decadent affair that requires most students to have designs for their attire be prepped in two to three months in advance. There is normally a theme, though it usually revolves around the holidays so red, green, white, blue, and black are commonly used in garments. Masks are required!

Due to The Academy's location being largely secretive except to the press, there is a significant amount of greenery. Many outdoorsy students adore the greenscape and prefer to experience it in an interactive format. Groups of students are known to gather in The Great Hall on the weekends and head out on one of the many beaten trails.
