Fiona is the brains of the operation - blueprints, tech, gadgets; it's all up her alley, and if she can't find what they need, she'll make it. She also ends up handling a lot of the logistics and doing the research to deal with more practical questions; would it be wiser to storm the building during the winter or the summer? Is the security tighter during normal operating hours or when it's closed for Christmas? Finally, Fiona is usually in charge of the getaway vehicle. There's no convoluted reason, just that she's a pretty good driver with a good sense of direction.

Finding a place to hide while her sister and Ris take care of all the heavy fighting; has received the basic combat and defense training O.W.C.A. makes all its agents go through; near-photographic memory; also has a near-eidetic memory; taking things apart and putting them back together; programming and coding, as well as applying these skills to hacking into things and bypassing all sorts of cyber security measures when she's in the field; dabbles in botany; pretty good at environmental science, though her passion will always be engineering-she's the happiest when she has a box of tools and an entire day to herself; easily grasps complicated theories and concepts; a decent mechanic; good with directions; pays a lot of attention to detail and notices tiny, specific little things; remembering names and faces

Literally never talks, and half of the time when she does talk, it's to make a pun; definitely nowhere near as proficient in combat as her step-sister or Ris, even though she's received most of the same training that they have; follows her step-sister's lead, no matter what; doesn't really have a life out of her step-sister and O.W.C.A., the fact that she doesn't ever talk means that she ends up doing most things with Pippa, and that she doesn't really have any friends who aren't also Pippa's friends; her handwriting is literal chicken scratch; not too terribly articulate when it comes to expressing her own feelings; definitely comes off as a bit awkward to a lot of people; never really tells Pippa 'no', even when she has slight reservations to whatever crazy scheme she's concocted up

Anything to do with gadgets-taking them apart, putting them together, jerry-rigging them up on the fly; locating and accessing escape routes; figuring out the logistics of a plan; hacking into things and bypassing cyber security measures; the "brains" of any given operation; surveillance (if there's one thing that Fiona's good at, it's being quiet)

Although she was born in Australia, Fiona doesn't really remember much of her life there. She and her father moved permanently to the States after he married her stepmom, the then-Linda Fan, when Fiona was five. She and Pippa had always gotten along, but when they were officially step-sisters, that was when the real fun started. During their long summer vacations, the two of them would sit under the big tree in their backyard, and Pippa would say "Fiona, I know what we're going to do today!" and it was always big and convoluted and probably a bit dangerous, but it was so much fun.
As they grew older, the two of them installed a secret lab in their tree house, and their creations grew bigger and more convoluted. When they were thirteen, Colonel Francesca Cloherty contacted them about joining O.W.C.A. As usual, Fiona deferred to Pippa, and as usual, Pippa jumped at the chance to do something fun.
Fiona's time at H.S.W.A.C.A. was spent at Pippa's side, and now that they're at Tri-State U, the same applies. Even though they don't take the same classes, the two of them were roommates during the year. It's nice having Ris around, though; Fiona appreciates her practicality and her know-how in the field.
Speaking of O.W.C.A....Fiona, Pippa, and Ris have been assigned to Dr. Daafenshmirtz ever since they entered the system. So it definitely came as a shock when Fiona ended up having her for one of her upper-level environmental science courses. Dr. Daaf has always been absentminded and forgetful, so it's a bit of a relief that she doesn't recognize Fiona without her O.W.C.A. gear on, but still. Yikes. Her son, though - Fiona first met him in a CS elective surrounding graphic design, and she is head-over-heels. Vincent Daafenshmirtz-Martinez is cool and dark and brooding, but not in an annoying way, and he seems to understand her. Plus, he's never once told his mom what she does outside of class, nor does he seem to care that Fiona, Pippa, and Ris are always ruining his mother's diabolical plans. In fact, he seems to like it when Fiona inevitably shows up to stop Dr. Daafenshmirtz's latest scheme. What is going on?!

Perhaps the first thing that most people notice about Fiona is how quiet she is. Indeed, on any given day, Fiona won't say anything beyond what is absolutely necessary. She doesn't join in on her classmates' conversations before class, doesn't chime in when she's doing homework with her friends, doesn't sing or dance at the parties her step-sister drags her along to. Even Fiona herself isn't too sure of the reason-she just doesn't think there's a use for talking, sometimes, especially when she's not doing something for O.W.C.A. She doesn't have that much to say.
When she does say something without strictly needing to, though, it's usually a pithy observation or a dry remark, maybe with a pun or two mixed in. Fiona, despite her apparent lack of interest in conversation, is very observant and quietly perceptive. While others are focused on their own individual interactions, Fiona tends to idly watch everyone as she goes about her day-the black-haired barista at the on-campus Starbucks who writes the customers' names in cursive and works from noon to close on Saturdays; the art professor with mismatching socks who passes by the CS building every Monday and Wednesday around 3:58, trying to make it in time for his 4:00 class; the quiet kid she had gone to elementary school with, who is now a history major that loves to argue about the merits of Mao Zedong's take on socialism. Some find Fiona's attention to detail and uncanny ability to remember names and faces to be....off-putting. Colonel Cloherty, as Fiona has found, loves it.
Another personality trait of Fiona's that the colonel loves is her analytical mind. Fiona is always turning everything over in her head, examining it from twenty different angles at any given point in time. And although Pippa is generally regarded as the 'idea person' of their group, Fiona has always been one to 'think outside of the box', so to speak. Whether it's with her gadgets and tech or with a tricky heist, the colonel and Fiona's friends know that they can always count on her to come up with some creative solution based on a rational analysis of every single fact about the situation, complete with the tech necessary to accomplish it.
Finally, Fiona is always prepared for anything. Impeccably organized, Fiona is the kind of girl to color-code her notes, write everything down in a planner, and pick out her outfit for the next day the night before. If Pippa and her friends need someone to DD for the night, Fiona has already got the address to the bar or party in her phone, complete with any cash that she might need to pay for parking. If she has a term paper due on Friday, she'll have it done by Tuesday and spend the rest of the week proofreading it. Fiona doesn't like being forced to handle things that she doesn't know how to handle-and thankfully, with Pippa, most of her convoluted ideas of fun have always fallen into the realm of 'things Fiona can figure out'.

The step-sister of Candace and Pippa Fan-Fletcher; has worked with Colonel Cloherty ever since she was 13; knows all of the Clairsville Gang, thanks to the fact that she grew up with them. Out of everyone in the gang, Fiona is probably the closest to Baljeet, mostly because 1) they're both math nerds, and 2) Baljeet is perfectly fine with her randomly interjecting with corrections or different methods when he's trying to figure out a complicated math problem (plus, he quickly picks up on what she's trying to show him without her needing to say a word).
In terms of her love life, Fiona is crushing hard on Vincent Daafenshmirtz, though she would never in a million years admit that to anybody. But they sat next to each other in one of her CS classes during the falll semester, and he didn't seem to care that she rarely ever said anything. He also didn't seem to be too affronted when Fiona moved in, silently, to fix a bug in his code. And so it became an unspoken agreement that Fiona was free to just take Vincent's computer and fix what needed fixing, no questions asked. She's aware that he's Dr. Daafenshmirtz's son, yes, but he doesn't seem like he wants to do anything evil at all. In fact, at most, he just seems....bored, but in a cool way. Fiona is head over heels.
