I've done quite a bit of shopping on aliexpress, though I must admit it's mostly window shopping. It's really not what it used to be, because the prices have increased a lot and there aren't as many sales, bargains, codes, and coupons as in the past. It's probably because Google announced that they were the new owners; I think that's when most of the changes came about.
I bought a pair of Tom Ford thigh high, stiletto heel boots; a couple pairs of Casedei boots, too, on aliexpress. At the time I thought they were the real McCoy, but, now, I guess they're probably knock offs. They were pretty cheap: about 25 bucks.
There's some interesting fashions on aliexpress, that aren't exactly designer stuff, but most of the items are years, or even decades, old. I guess there are warehouses full of the unsold items, and the sellers just keep reselling their unsold stock year after year, until they exhaust their whole stock.

I create sets that I think I could possibly afford to wear. The sets help me decide if the outfit will look good. Of course, since I started making fashion sets, I've created more sets than the number of days since I started making them, so, to wear all of the sets, I'd have to wear about three or four outfits a day. Thinking about it, however, I haven't actually worn that many outfits based on my sets, nevertheless, it's fun to create new styles. Even if I'm never going to wear the outfit exactly like it is in the set, I still try to use items I could possibly afford.
I suppose my current fashion state of mind, is quantity over price.

@maisondeforgeron I have seen reports that say a single person needs a minimum of $27.49 per hour working full-time in order to be able to live in a one bedroom apartment... the MTA and developers have purchased the government officials to allow them to build nothing but luxury apartments with no parking... the city is a mess. All of my longtime friends have moved to Vegas or Arizona.
